Official Contest Rules

The rules of a race. No purchase beyond your stake is required.

Apple is not a sponsor of and is not involved in these contests in any way. Apple has no responsibility for a race, a stake, a payout or a dispute. Your contract for entering a race is with Project O2 alone.

Who can enter

Open to registered Project O2 account holders aged 18 or over, in the countries the app is available in. One entry per person per race. No purchase of anything other than the stake itself is required, and buying nothing else improves your odds.

How to enter

Pick an open race, stake the entry the race is set at, and tick the box that says a missed day forfeits it. The stake leaves your wallet into escrow the moment you enter. Entries close when day one opens.

How you win a day

Every day of the race you have one target, computed from YOUR baseline: the median of your recent days for that metric, raised by the race's multiplier. Meet or beat the target and the day counts. Rest days in a race calendar do not. Meet every non-rest day and you finish, and everyone who finishes is paid.

How you lose your stake

Miss one daily target and you are out, and your stake is forfeited to the pot. There is no partial refund and no buying back in. A day is judged after it closes in your own timezone, so late-syncing samples still count.

What a finisher is paid

Finishers are paid from the pot. The guarantee is paid first: finishers are paid at least their stake back, at the multiplier the race froze when it was created. What is left of the pot after that is divided among the finishers. O2 is never paid out of a finisher's stake. Each race shows its own frozen figures on the staking sheet before you enter. We show you a live projection before you stake, and it is a projection, because what is in the pot depends on how many people drop out after you enter. A free-tier finisher pays a platform fee on their own payout, at the rate the race publishes and at the tier they joined on; a Premium finisher pays none. No payout fee is taken on the first win that would otherwise carry one. This applies once per account.

Getting paid

A payout lands in your Project O2 wallet when the race settles. From there you can stake it again or withdraw it to your bank. Withdrawals need a verified email address, and there is a lifetime cap until you complete the identity check.

Fair play

Health data is screened for manual entries, uncorroborated sources and physically implausible jumps. A day, an entry or an account can be voided for it, and a voided entry is not refunded.

These races are run by Trabalhinho, the operator of Project O2. Questions and disputes go to support@trabalhinho.pt and are answered from the same records the settlement used.
